They are all Sproutlets and/or their Grown-Up Sprouts opening a cardboard shoebox which always demarked a cartoon setting, with some animation and the Sprout logo on certain things, while male singers sing about the show coming up next, ending with a kids voice saying 'Sprout'. Mason Therrel originally voiced Dash, but since his voice changed, he was replaced by other child actors and male actors, such as Regan Mizrahi and Jake Beale. These openings aired on PBS Kids Sprout from 2009 to 2015.
